Baby powderIf you are allergic and cant wear deodorant or perfumes, what you can do to control odor?
Does Shower to Shower have perfumes that would cause a reaction on him? Perhaps bathing in water with baking soda in it. Not only will he have very soft skin, it may control the odor...
Number one is to keep the bacteria count down on your skin which means washing all over at least once a day. Your friend could try a soap that isn't perfumed and use it like a deodorant , that is, rub the bar of soap under his arms. They should try it first on a small spot on their arm first to make sure they aren't going to have a reaction. Baby care products might be an alternative as they aren't as harsh. Also, they could stay away from foods that have strong odors like onions, asparagus, garlic, etc. If they are going on a date, I would also suggest that they do something that doesn't require a lot of physical exertion so they don't work up a sweat. Lastly, they could ask their physician to recommend some products for people with the same allergies. A phone call to the office should do it if they explain the urgent need. Good luck.
I heard of lemon and salt (not at the same time)used as deodorant

actually I just asked around and was told that lemon will irritate your skin and stain your clothes but I was told that Phillips' Milk of Magnesia is the thing to use you apply it like you would lotion (and leave it on) and use a little more on the armpits

hope that helps
Easy to answer..........

I have not used any ';deodorant'; for about 4 years and have no body odor even on hot sweaty days......

But I do spray on Rubbing Alcohol after my bath....

What causes body odor ?

Bacteria.....

What kills bacteria ? Alcohol !

For the first 10-12 days, you will sweat profusly, but with no odor... After that , your body is accuston to not using anti-persperant, and you will only do normal sweating....
try this all-natural deodorant perhaps- it's called

Crystal Stick and comes in a purple-packaged roll-on or stick.

It doesn't have the chemicals that are most likely to cause

allergies- I love it. It doesn't keep you from sweating but it

blocks the buildup of bacteria that cause body odor.
i don't use any deodorant or perfumes at all... i am not allergic to them but i don't wear any..... just my day %26amp; night showers, that will do it for me!! Good Luck
If the problem is odor, Arm and Hammer makes a Deodorant/anti-perspirant with Baking Soda, unscented. Regular old fashioned gold Dial soap is also good.

But, if the issue is that your frind wants something that smells nice,

there are essential oils that have very nice smells.
there is a natural product called Bionsen, it is like crystals and you mix them with water and spray that on, it can be used all over the body and re-filled up to 5 times. I am not sure how it works, it is some sort of volcanic thing but I use this and it really works. As it is a natural product it should be fine for your friend to use. I don;t know where you live but if you go to but if it is the UK go to Boots the Chemist and get it there. Worth a go!!
Your friend can use Gold Bond powder
go to an Indian restaurant,
try going into a health and beauty store. or some sort of natural shop (health store). there are many chemicals that a person could be allergic to in deodorant/perfume. Your going to have to look for one probably with out the alcohol or dyes. what does he use for soap?

I believe there is a deodorant crystals though i have no personal experience with it. I am very sensitive to alot of additives and especially lanolin so i am careful about what i use. but this goes down to the bar soap i put on my body or whatever products i use on my face.

remind him not to eat onions or garlic that day as he will sweat those smells out his pores which will only exacerbate any body odor issues.

as the wife of a soldier i have smelled him after coming home from the middle east and being on an airplane for about 3 days straight. i always feel very sorry for the other passengers on commercial flights.. cause i know i have to have the window down until i can get him into a bath or shower.. EEGAD!!
lemon suice
can he use scent free kind or is he allergic to that too? but i dont think a guy would like to walk around smelling like baby powder like the first person said
