Can we use deodorants and perfumes at the same time.?

No!!! They will cancel each other out and kill you!!!Can we use deodorants and perfumes at the same time.?
Only if the deodorant doesn't workCan we use deodorants and perfumes at the same time.?
doesn't make a difference
if the deodorant has a small scent then yes if it doesn't wear the perfume
yeah, no reason why not.
Why not, especially if you use a deodorant without a fragrance.
I do ~ I guess it would be a problem if your deodorant has a very strong scent to it.
yeah, they're for different purposes. try to go with an unscented deodorant so that the two fragrances don't mix and make you smell gross.
DUH, why not??? deoderant is anti-perspirant, not perfume!!!
yes.
Yes, but go for unscented or not too strong-smelling deodorant, otherwise the fragrance combination is overbearing.
Yeah. When you think about it, women use a ton of scented products every day. Shampoo, conditioner, styling products, lotions, makeups, and the like. For deos, I recommend Mitchum for women. You can get the strong, unscented one that won't compete. And you really want to wear a good deo, otherwise you'll smell like pits and flowers at the same time. Masking funk doesn't work well. Like spraying those sprays into a stinky bathroom after a heavy Mexican food bender... It doesn't cover the stink all that well.

Scented lotion is really a better bet for summer, and you can probably get one in your fav fragrance for a lot cheaper than perfumes. Or even a body spray will do the trick, and not be as strong. The scent is lighter, and doesn't break down so fast in the heat. There's a trick with perfume, just put on your pulse points. I spray mine on a qtip and then dab it on. If you put too much perfume on, you can use rubbing alcohol to take some of it off, or rub petrolum jelly over it to mask some of it and make it release slowly throughout the day. Some women spray it into the air and walk through it, but then it ends up on your clothes and in your hair. If could break your skin out, and dry out your hair if you do that. Hope this helps.
Yes, in fact it makes sense to use both. If you don't use deo, when you perspire it'll mix with your perfume - not good! I'd suggest using an unscented deodorant which won't cancel out the scent of perfume.
you can but you really should think about the person that will have to sit next to you. if you put on too much of one or both then they willl end up suffering.
If the deodorant is anti- perspirant then yes
yes
Well, it depends. Using deotorant with a really stinky scent, then go to Abercombie %26amp; Fitch or another store that sells perfume with a smell you think will be atractive and smells nice. But if your deotorant doesn't smell, then, that could take care of the smell. So you don't exactley need both at the same time.

Remember... It depends.
well why would you want to stink yes use both
yes

  • Do certain religions forbid perfumes, deodorants, certain soaps, etc.?

I ask this because I have seen mentioned the fact that occasionally one runs into people of certain racial backgrounds who smell unpleasing. Is it their faith that is the cause of this?

I am of course not referring to those who are impoverished or live in Pre-Industrial or early Industrial countries.Do certain religions forbid perfumes, deodorants, certain soaps, etc.?
I know that certain people following strict monastic lives cant use certain things like perfumed, certain soaps and deodorants, but still can bath.Do certain religions forbid perfumes, deodorants, certain soaps, etc.?
I would guess that Amish or Hutterites probably don't use these. Mainstream religions generally don't care.
I believe that there are some Christians who frown upon perfume but I am not sure of the others.

I will not wear a large amount of perfume nor a loud scent as many are allergic. I also will not purchase anything tested upon animals.
Yeah some more strict forms of religion, it's more of a personal choice. Most people that smell bad are usually just dirty slobs. Or bad gas!!! ha ha!!!!
I believe that Muslims are not allowed to use tampons. Now, Muslims correct me if I'm wrong. Andif I am, I'm sorry.
I know if you visit some monestaries, you are not allowed to speak to certain monks or wear purfume, I am not sure exactly why however. Perhaps certain monastery's can tell you why that is.

The Amish are the only ones I know of.
    WHATTTT???

what kind of question is this!!!!!

religions have much important things to mention

    than people's smell..!!!!!!
why do some religions wipe their a** with their left hand?
I don't know, but I know that mormons forbid any underwear other than their own. Hahahaha...

Does travelling and sweating drains out the effect of perfumes/deodorant/colognes ?

I travel to my office by public transport. I use perfume or deo but by the time I reach office with my around 1 n half hour travelling ..the effect has been gone..sometimes I pass by certain people and they smell so good fresh..and my deo or perfume smells doesnt lasts..what to do ? Plz give your suggestions.

Plz ignore my grammatical mistakes, as english is not my first languageDoes travelling and sweating drains out the effect of perfumes/deodorant/colognes ?
Hey there question ask-er. It might just be the type of deodorant you are using! If you sweat from simply just sitting there like I do sometimes, then maybe you should get an antiperspirant! I recommend adidas, it works very well, and unlike speed stick and other deodorant's and antiperspirant's it actually lasts the whole twenty four hours! :):)

    Deodorant vs perfume?

ok so before saying duh! u should wear them both dumb ***! just listen up for a sec, so i read this article that was saying that u should use antiperspirant in order to prevent the actual release of perspiration and that deodorant is kinda useless cause it is really no more different than perfume being just an odor, that covers the sweat like just covering up one smell with another same as using perfume...

huhhh??? i never even know that antiperspirant and deodorant are like two different things...and i have always used deodorant and perfume together...

is it true??? if not please explain to me what each of those 3 does...im really confused lolDeodorant vs perfume?
    OK LET'S GET THIS STRAIGHT!!!

    =P

ANTIPERSPERANTS help stop body odour from developing by reducing underarm wetness, but it also has a nice smell which is also like a deodorant.

DEODORANTS are perfumes that mask up body odours

PERFUME is used to make you smell nice and also masks up body odourDeodorant vs perfume?
deodorant/antiperspirant is like the same thing. Usually most ';deodorants'; work as an antiperspirant for most people, unless you're like me,which i have a 'disorder' where i sweat a lot more than the average person so i need a stronger deodorant/antiperspirant to prevent sweating.

perfume is just like an extra to wear, it's not neccessary, but i think perfume shouldn't be used in place or instead of deodorant.
    Yeah they are different

Adding a perfume is like spraying lysol on a smelly turd that you didn't flush down the toilet because it only masks the smell with something else.

Antiperspirant is like flushing the toilet and turning on the fan (Ok not really this was a bad analogy) But antiperspirant helps to prevent sweating, even though sometimes it doesn't work.
i might sound dumb but i thought that anti perspiration's deodorant. I know that some of those deodorants already includes anti perspiration in their formula.

and i wouldn't wear perfume because perfume only masks teh smell instead of preventing it there for usually at the end of the night if you were sweating you smell even worst.
Um guys don't use perfume..lol! Deodorant make your BO not smell bad...I Always thought they were the same just antiperspirant was a spray so im no help there!! But yea deodorant and COLOGNE will work finee!
    whats the question

Do your sexual partners prefer your natural scent or do they want you to mask it with perfume, deodorant, etc?

Tried of the rigors of being a metrosexual, I stopped using soap, perfume, deodorant, and even foot powder. I just used water in taking a shower at least 4 times a day. As a result, my gf and other lady partners are wild with my natural male scent. They call me 'horse' now not only because of my size but also for my scent. In public places, I notice that ladies and gay guys are taking deep whiffs of my natural scent. Even guys who I have no reason to suspect of being gays also gravitate towards my natural male scent.

I don't mean body odor or any offensive odor when I use the term natural male scent. I mean clean but natural male scent, the way a man should smell like.

I just want to know if other people prefer their men to smell like men and not be the feminized or emasculated version of men. Do you think that there is now a backlash against the 'metrosexualization' of men? Cheers!Do your sexual partners prefer your natural scent or do they want you to mask it with perfume, deodorant, etc?
i LOVE the smell of my partners natural scent. Umm- males dont always smell like roses- there not suspose toDo your sexual partners prefer your natural scent or do they want you to mask it with perfume, deodorant, etc?
my partner loves the natural scent of my balls after a workout
They like a mixture of me and my mix.
Sapoderm soap was good enough for us. Left a good clean feeling and our pores were not filled with antiperspirant.

    Rose P.
I like a man to smell like he took a quick shower and then jogged ten miles. But I prefer partners who want me to wear yesterday's socks and boxers. ;-)
Foot Powder? Four times a day shower? For the love of god man, who are you?

By the way, I don't want to smell anybody's natural body odor - cause yeah - odor being the key word here. Please use deodorant and soap and cologne.
